sketch show - In development

Below are some example sketches from Episode 4 of our new sketch show, Somerton Nowt - a current work in progress from The Northern Monkeys.  

The show is aimed at the post watershed market, the show comprises 6 x 1/2 hour episodes with sketches varying in length from 30 seconds to 3 minutes.

Bid Team Leader and Dog Mum wannabe, Margot is waiting for her train back  to Somerton when she disastrously attracts the attention of a chocolate loving  Yorkshire Terrier. (1 min) 

Arriving late at Somerton Margot hails a taxi from the 1970’s driven by ageing  former porn star Big John Gnomes. Can she handle his advances, or will she  cave into Mr. Charisma?

Door knocking intern Jacob is greeted by Somerton resident Elsie who is a  little hard of hearing. She’s a house full of cats with mittens to match. Will we  ever see Jacob again? (1 min) 

Margot’s taxi ride takes an unexpected turn, she has no cash and has been  offered an alternative way to pay. Will she choose the hard or soft option?  (2 min)
